Savannah’s approach to casework is based in compassion and practicality. She prides herself in finding creative solutions to decrease conflict, reduce cost, and maximize value for her clients.
Savannah joined the Nancy Zalusky Berg, LLC team after a four-year judicial clerkship at the Hennepin County Family Justice Center. While clerking, she worked exclusively in the area of family law and domestic abuse, where she gained first-hand experience with the family court system, insight into the judicial officers’ decision-making process, and understanding of the comprehensive needs of families in transition.
Savannah graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2016. During law school Savannah gained valuable, diverse legal experience as a law clerk for a small family law firm and for a local and regional legal-aid office. She was also an advocate at the child protection clinic and served as student body president. Savannah has learned that no family is the same, and the separation of families involves myriad legal, social, and chemical, mental, and physical health issues.
Savannah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, and cheering on her favorite teams – the NDSU Bison, Minnesota Vikings, and Duke Blue Devils.
Her areas of practice include divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree matters.
