Jessica has joined the Nancy Zalusky Berg, LLC team as a senior attorney after successfully managing and growing her own solo practice. Jessica is a thorough, thoughtful, and creative advocate for her clients. She is a tough negotiator who is skilled in identifying and understanding client goals and delivering favorable and equitable outcomes. Jessica is admitted to practice in Minnesota state court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, and has over a decade of experience advocating for her clients in and out of court. Jessica’s practice is focused on divorce, custody, parenting time, spousal maintenance, child support, and post-decree matters. As a business owner, Jessica has a keen understanding of business-related issues prevalent in a divorce situation. Jessica’s past experience working as a Behavioral Technologist at a chemical dependency treatment center has provided her with a unique perspective serving families who experience chemical dependency and mental health issues.
Jessica is an involved member of the legal community. She volunteers her time as a pro bono attorney for various organizations, including Chrysalis. Jessica is a founder and a co-leader of the Real Mom’s Club, an organization designed to engage, support and advance professional mothers. Jessica has also served on the Board of Trustees for Voyager Outward Bound School, and as an Executive Board Delegate-at-Large for the Cooperative Practice Network. Jessica’s peers have designated her a Rising Star Super Lawyer for the past two years, a recognition given to 2.5% of Minnesota attorneys.
When Jessica is not advocating for her clients or supporting her colleagues through her community involvement, she is enjoying the great outdoors. Jessica is an avid hiker and a swimmer. Her outdoor adventures include a swim across the St. Croix River, and a 49-day hiking and whitewater canoeing trip in the Chihuahuan Desert/Rio Grande. Jessica indulges her creative side by creating abstract paintings and enjoys live music.
